  1. According to Defence Secretary Ben Wallace, the UK is sending helicopters to Ukraine, the first manned aircraft to be delivered by the country since the start of the conflict. The BBC has learned that three former British military Sea Kings will be offered. In order to provide search and rescue capabilities, Ukrainian crews were trained to fly and maintain the aircraft in the UK. The UK would also deploy 10,000 artillery rounds. He made the declaration while meeting with allies in Oslo to discuss continuing military assistance for Kiev.
  2. Japan’s supporters showed that the best manners and traditions are engrained, no matter the circumstance. Despite the significance of their victory over Germany that might have led them to celebrate. The stands in sporting arenas are typically covered in used food trays, wrappers and empty drink cups at halftime. Their players had just left the field after defeating the four-time winners 2-1 in their World Cup opener when the Japanese spectators at the stadium in Qatar stopped the festivities to clean up after themselves.
  3. After conducting a survey, Twitter’s new owner Elon Musk announced that Donald Trump’s account had been restored. Tweeting that 51.8% of Twitter’s 15 million+ users had voted to lift the restriction, Elon Musk said that “the people have spoken.” The former US president, though, might not take the stage again after declaring: “I don’t see any justification for it.” The potential for inciting violence led to the suspension of his account in 2021. Trump’s millions of followers on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube accounts were also suspended.
  4. Each day, thousands of people go to one of India’s oldest zoos to see three newborn penguins play. This year, the Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Udyan, better known as the Byculla Zoo, in Mumbai, gave birth to three chicks: two boys and a girl. However, the birth was not publicised by the zoo until last week, when it celebrated its 160th birthday. The Zoo currently boasts 12 Humboldt penguins. The controversially imported penguins, which are typically found around coastal locations in Chile and Peru, came from a private aquarium in Korea in 2016.
  5. Campaigners for human and animal rights are pushing for a ban on the abuse of antibiotics in farm animals due to concerns about the spread of superbugs in people. According to them, routine use of antibiotics in animals might cause germs to develop resistance, and these “superbugs” may transmit to humans. They discovered resistant bacteria in the slurry, in chicken litter, and in sample testing they conducted in rivers close to farms. According to the administration, additional restrictions on the usage of antibiotics are being considered.
  6. Water is necessary for life to exist. That statement holds true whether there are humans on Earth or somewhere else in the universe. This week saw the successful launch of NASA’s Artemis 1 rocket, marking the beginning of an ambitious program to send people to the moon and beyond. It is imperative to address the problem to obtain water outside of Earth. Without the priceless liquid, the proposed lunar colony would be impractical, and Dr. Berhanu is in charge of a team researching how it might be located on Earth’s lone natural satellite.
