  1. Apple will comply with EU regulations requiring USB-C to become the charging standard and convert all subsequent iPhones. iPhone 15 might still have Lightning, despite rumors that the iPhone 15 will use USB-C when it launches. This transition will result in a significant number of e-waste as billions of Lightning cords will not work with new gadgets. Apple states: the switch to USB-C is not ideal for the majority. Pennsylvania presently allows abortions up to 24 weeks.
  6. In an apparent reference to the deal’s completion, Elon Musk tweeted: “the bird is freed”. Several top executives, including the CEO, Parag Agrawal, are said to have been fired. It concludes a saga in which Twitter went to court to hold the multibillionaire to the terms of a takeover deal that he had tried to avoid. According to Reuters, Mr Agrawal and Mr Segal were led out of Twitter’s San Francisco head office after the deal closed.
