5. Indonesia produces Kopi luwak, an expensive type of coffee at £523 per kilogram. The cherries of this unique Indonesian coffee are partially digested and defecated by the Asian palm civet, and then gathered by local farmers. How amazing that the world’s most expensive coffees come from animal feces?
6. Without the need for a farmer to enter the field, robot farmers can plant seeds, weed, irrigate, and spray. Most importantly, scientists are working on producing robot farmers who can also gather crops. Experts believe that those robots will be put to use in the not-too-distant future.
