If you know someone that may attempt or commit suicide, here are some tips.
Don’t be afraid to ask them direct questions like “Have you been thinking about suicide?”
Listen to what they have to say. Don’t show any judgements or dismiss their feelings. Gather as much information from them to ensure efficient help is received i.e. “When do you want to do it?” and “How do you plan on doing it?” Seek professional help!
