This week the team has created some rather informative and interesting facts. Enjoy these facts and learn something new about the events occurring in our world.

1. A healthy human body needs omega-3 fatty acids to function properly. Low Omega-3 consumption has been linked to significant illnesses such as heart disease, depression, reduced IQ, and other mental disorders. These necessary fatty acids can help prevent numerous ailments by preventing a deficit.

2. The first written language is Sumerian, which dates to 3500 BC. The writing consisted of materials with an administrative theme. There are school notes with writing activities for words and signs. The writing system and all knowledge of the Sumerian language vanished around the time of Christ.

3. Soccer, often known as football, has its roots in China, an Asian nation. Cuju, a form of football, was created around 476 BC. The FIFA World Cup is currently the most watched sport in the world. The British Broadcasting Company, also known as the BBC, broadcast the first live football game in 1937. 

4. However, just 16% of all named species on Earth are marine. Over 90 potential bacterial and archaeal families, as well as approximately 300 new species, were discovered in the ocean’s depths. These freshly found microorganisms have a connection to deep-sea volcanoes as their “place of origin.”

5. Not George Washington, but Salmon P. Chase was the first person to have his likeness appear on US currency. This was published in 1862, during the first war. Case was both the nation’s first banknote designer and Secretary of the Treasury. George Washington was later added to the portrait in 1869.

6. Salvino D’Armate is credited with creating the first pair of eyeglasses in 1284. Over the years, temple pieces that go over the ears and secure spectacles better than the nose-perching kind have been added to glasses. Concave and convex lenses were not widely used until the 17th century.
