A startup in India has created a less expensive, non-invasive test that makes use of AI and thermal imaging. Images identify breast masses and determine cancer risk. The test will help to detect certain early malignancies in those who may not otherwise have access to mammography screenings, despite being less accurate than mammography. Mammography is the best way to test for breast cancer, according to the US FDA.
