2. William Shakespeare shaped the English language through his brilliantly-written work which is taught in schools to this day. He was not so popular in his time and his work was never published until after his death, He was credited for creating roughly 3000 words. “To thine own self be true.”

3. Capoeira is a martial art that was developed for survival in Brazil. With its complex movements, it improves coordination, cardio and muscle tone. It is also a great way to learn a new culture. This is one of many ways to better your brain fitness.

4. Have you ever heard of an okapi? It is an animal that looks like both a zebra and giraffe. Interesting, right? It was thought to have been extinct and was recently found in the north-eastern parts of The Democratic Republic of Congo.

5. Evolution is a gradual change in organisms over many years. Though we look nothing like our ancestors, we have a few of their traits in us which no longer serve a useful function. Such as our wisdom teeth which are crammed in our jaws, as they become smaller due to a softer diet than our ancestors.

6. The first Toyota Corolla was produced in October 1966 in Japan. The name Corolla was chosen with the hope of an automotive bloom as it means ‘crown of flowers’. It has been the template for small cars globally for over 50 years.
