1. The University of Pennsylvania indicated that individuals who planned a backup plan before attempting a task performed badly. Team Plan B found that having options reduced their desire to thrive the first time. While it is important to plan ahead, simple plans at first may help you be more successful.
2. One of the oldest known and most challenging alphabets was created by the Mesopotamians. It is known as the cuneiform which means wedge-shaped writing. They used it in politics, allowing people from different cultures to communicate and exchange familiar information in a standardized format.
3. If you’re a fan of the Pokémon series, you know of Ash Ketchum. Ash Ketchum, is a ten-year-old boy whose partner is Pikachu. In the tv show, he captures and trains other Pokémon with the ambition of becoming the world’s greatest Pokémon Master. He attempts to accomplish this by playing in various leagues.
4. The African oil palm has a single large stem and can grow to a height of 20m. Their short branches usually sprout tiny flowers in clusters and develop into oval fruits. When these fruits mature, they turn black with a red core and consist of only one oily seed known as the kernel.
5. Zyklon-B was the poisonous gas used in the Holocaust. It was a pesticide made from hydrogen cyanide. During the Holocaust, the Nazis used it in the gas chambers of extermination camps such as Auschwitz. Zyklon-B was estimated to have killed 1.1 million people in concentration camps.
6. Henry Ford’s Ford Motor Company created the first affordable car. The Model T has a four-cylinder engine in the front of the car. It has a top speed of 64 to 72 kilometers per hour. It cost £630 in 1909. Model T was ranked eighth on the list of top 10 of the most sold cars in 2012.
