Try some of these tips to help you regulate your mood:

– Practice mindfulness to improve emotional awareness. Meditate.

– Your goal should be to regulate your emotions, not to repress them.

– Pen your emotions down in a journal so you can reflect on how they impact your life.

– Be mindful of when and how to express yourself.

– Manage your stress effectively.

– Deep breathing has good physiological benefits. Try it.

– Aim to be consistent in doing one or a few of these for better emotional health.

Emotional health is not the same as mental health but is part of the overall mental wellbeing of someone along with the psychological and social aspects.
